Microsoft is in the midst of transforming how employees get work done. Part of the updates for Office 365 are creating a new unified search experience throughout all of the applications and places you do work in Office 365.
Today, some of the first steps have landed on my Targeted Release tenant. The search bar in my applications has now moved up to the suite bar and the search results are consistent across all of the experiences. The new Office Icons are now showing in the App Launcher (waffle) menu.
